Strategi Pemerintah Kecamatan Langensari Dalam Pencegahan Covid-19

Abstract

Covid-19 can spread very quickly and have an impact on all sectors of life. The government must think of various strategies that must be carried out in preventing the spread of Covid-19.Researchers are interested in conducting research on the strategies carried out by the Langensari Subdistrict government in preventing Covid-19. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategy of the Langensari Subdistrict government in preventing Covid-19 and to describe the obstacles faced in preventing Covid-19. The theory used is Strategy according to Salusu and Young (in Salusu, 2015: 71) there are three important elements, namely skills or abilities, resources, and the environment. Research approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, and the informans chosen using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection is done in two ways, namely literature study and field study. The results showed that the strategy carried out by the Langensari subdistrict government was not optimal enough to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This can be seen from the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in 2021. The obstacles faced are in conducting coordination meetings, often the absence of several parties involved, and the condition of the community environment that is not supportive of efforts to prevent Covid-19, as can be seen from the many people who do not apply health protocols and do not obey the policies implemented by the government in preventing Covid-19.
