PEREMPUAN DAN POLITIK: KETERLIBATAN PEREMPUAN DALAM CALON ANGGOTA DPRD KOTA BANJAR DI PEMILIHAN UMUM TAHUN 2024
Abstract
The involvement of women in politics in Banjar City, especially in the Banjar City DPRD legislative general election in 2024 has been determined by the Banjar City General Election Commission regarding the list of permanent candidates for Banjar City legislative candidates in 2024. Determined in General Election Decree 51 of 2023 concerning the List of Candidates remains a member of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Banjar City in the 2024 general election. In the 2024 general election activities in Banjar City, there are 14 Political Parties participating in the legislative general election in Banjar City. Of the 14 political parties, almost all of them meet the minimum requirements, there is only one political party that does not meet the requirements, namely the Ummah party. And in every electoral district in Banjar City itself, all of them meet the requirement of at least 30% female involvement in general election participants. In electoral district one, women's participation in the 2024 legislative election is 38.13%. Meanwhile, the electoral district is 35.51%. And electoral district three has 41.90% female participation in the 2024 legislative general election in Banjar City. The number of women who took part and became participants in the 2024 legislative general election in Banjar City was 135 people out of 351 participants in the 2024 Banjar City legislative general election, if the percentage of women's representation in legislative general election activities in Banjar City reached 38.46%.
