ANALISIS TEKNIK KEPEMIMPINAN LURAH DI KELURAHAN SUKAMAJUKALER KECAMATAN INDIHIANG KOTA TASIKMALAYA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the leadership techniques of the village head in Sukamajukaler Village, Indihiang District, Tasikmalaya City. This study was motivated by problems regarding work discipline that are still not optimal. This can be seen based on indicators that there are still employees who come and go home not on time. For example, work hours start at 07.00 WIB, arrive at 08.00 WIB, go home at 15.00 WIB earlier at 13.00 WIB. The question is, how is the leadership technique of the village head in Sukamajukaler Village, Indihiang District, Tasikmalaya City. This study uses the Minjeong theory which has six main dimensions: Techniques for maturing and preparing followers, Techniques for using appropriate communication systems, Techniques for providing facilities, Human Relations Techniques, Techniques for being a role model, Techniques for persuasion and giving gifts. The method used in this study is a Qualitative research method with Descriptive research techniques. Data collection was carried out by observation, data collection from the Sukamajukaler Village Office, Indihiang District, Tasikmalaya City, and documentation. The results of the research on the leadership techniques of the village head in Sukamajukaler Village, Indihiang District, Tasikmalaya City have been running, but not optimally, because the leader in using the technique of facilities and giving gifts in persuasion techniques has not been able to be fully implemented and the technique of providing facilities still needs additional computers and is still improving the unstable internet network. However, the leadership techniques applied by the village head are dominated by the technique of maturation and preparation of followers. Seeing this, the leader needs to pay more attention to the technique of facilities and persuasion techniques or giving gifts that have not been implemented, where in fact these techniques can improve better performance.
