Abstract

Based on observations, we found that the management of the final waste disposal site was constrained by supporting facilities and infrastructure, as well as the limited budget for implementing programs or planning. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to photograph how the strategy is carried out by the department in managing the waste final disposal site (TPA). This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with predetermined informants and carried out continuously until the data was saturated. The data is further grouped according to the implementation stages. The results showed that the Strategy of the Environmental Service in the Management of the Waste TPA in Babakan Hamlet, Cibeureum Village, Banjar City in 2017 was quite good, from eight dimensions, the weakness was in the direction of the Strategic Movement dimension, which became the motivation for this TPA management to run. maximally and with full attention if the supporting facilities and infrastructure are adequate. The obstacles in the management of TPA include the Lack of availability of heavy equipment to support facilities and infrastructure; Limited land area used to accommodate waste in the TPA; The hope for using the best tool, namely the incenator, cannot be realized without the funds to buy it because it is expensive.
